Hood to Coast relay kicks off despite temperatures nearing triple digits Despite the extreme heat the annual Hood to Coast relay started Friday morning with more than 19,000 participants taking part in the race to Seaside.

Meanwhile, a bunch of dedicated runners have descended upon Oregon to run an annual relay race from Mt Hood 200 miles to the Pacific Ocean. Two vans of six runners take turns passing the baton (bracelet) across sleepless days in a van w sweaty teammates. And they enjoy it! #HTC25
