It’s official. I no longer have a way to watch mainstream media and mainstream tv in general. I refuse to pay $85 a month for #YouTubeTV or #HuluTV or #Comcast. They all have been increasing their rates annually and it’s getting out of hand.

Shogun (2024)—Is perfect? This time I really focused on Shinnosuke Abe’s scenes as Buntaro—amazing! That’s true of the entire cast. Cosmo Jarvis is probably the weakest link, and that’s more to do with the character writing rather than the acting.

English Teacher—Gets a C for effort. Should check the boxes, but I come away disliking or not caring about anyone in the main cast. Wants to bridge Abbott Elementary with A.P. Bio, but ends up with a lot of dumb and very little English or teacher.
