This is a fanart I made of Portugal for a Halloween event that is only celebrated in Japan, unfortunately, which I personally like quite a lot since he's dressed as a captain in the Portuguese imperial era. As for the background, I was originally going to put a Halloween theme (pumpkins, ghosts, bats...) but in the end I opted for a blue background that reflects the ocean, which is quite in keeping with Portugal.
