Truly a unique flag, easily recognizable, and to me, looks "happy." The flag reflects our land and values, founded on peace, not war.

It became our official flag in 1965, introduced by Nobel Prize-winning PM, Lester B. Pearson.

For today's installment of #iconicCanada: this Heritage Minute on the world's leading brain scientist who mapped brain regions.

This spot is iconic because, for many years, the phrase "I smell burnt toast" was synonymous in Canada with Eureka moments, learning and understanding.

The Friendly Giant was my favourite children's show. The intro music still = happiness. He is beloved by generations.
