Jessie said it's hard not to get emotional. He worked hard and stayed hungry. Never let himself be satisfied with his win.
And the feed kept jumping but it would rewind. This time it didn't. They presented Jessie with his big fake check.
And, Sasha OUT! #Iditarod54

He has had incredible mentors who believed in him when he didn't. He finally started to believe in himself and he wanted to make the proud. Phil Cotter (sp) was at ceremonial start-been a rock for Jessie, Jerry Riley inspired him to be fierce-got a lot of his race strategy from him. #Iditarod54

Jessie said it is a huge responsibility to represent the sport. Lists off his team. And the feed is buffering. He said he will never let his dogs down cause they never let him down. That's the reason they are at the finish line. He loves running & doing this sport watching them grow up. #Iditarod54
Thanking his handlers. It's challenging to get from his remote place to get out to the truck and get to the various things they have to go to for Iditarod. He's thanking his sponsors. He has a really good mechanic sponsor who helps keep his truck up and running. #Iditarod54
