Rather than oil paints, the medium of choice is watercolors and colored pencils to achieve the feel of van Gogh's work. Vincent is wearing a yellow button up long sleeve shirt with a blue vest with swirls with brown pants in the same swirly pattern. Abby is wearing an A-Line dress with a landscape painted over the entire thing, showing an olive orchard with mountains and the disc-like sun in the background, referencing the artwork of the same name (Olive Orchard with Mountains and the Disc of the Sun).
