A personal post. Just spoke to my Dad (77) who suggested-again-I find a group to get my mind off grief. Have been struggling intensely lately. I blurt out: maybe I could find a #birdwatcher group. He responds enthusiastically. And, for a second, I feel a smidge of #hope. #imissmyson #griefrecovery

this is a really difficult weekend for me. I lost my only child when he was just shy of turning 19. tomorrow is a bittersweet day. I was very proud to be his Mom. now my world is quite empty.
