The raven with the shiney object was a perfect match, and the toad was my attempt to sidestep my usual impulse to draw a moon cat (blame Sailormoon, ha)

Some of these have been an excuse for me to bust out inks I don't use often, so the results can be a little unpredictable. Case in point, the ink on 12 absolutely bled like crazy. Ah well, lesson learned!

I couldn't resist the desire to go incredibly silly with number 10. It's even better in real life because that ink shimmers in the light.

Prompts were raven, whiskers, and toad. I wanted to draw a couple little witchy familiars throughout the month so I think these guys plus bat will make a good set together.

I'm really enjoying using a glass pen* and dip ink for these. It forces me to slow down and be deliberate and meditate on the process more.
(this is actually a portable plastic pen that mimics the shape of a glass nib but same idea)
