Been slowly chipping away at this “Shibari Snek” project.
First, I sketched out my concept, photographed and redrew digitally, printed and traced the back, and then etched it onto the wood using a quarter.
The plan is to use posca pens and paint to complete it!

A dozen owl figurines after being hand painted in underglazes. Each little barn owl has its own personality.
Finished painting barn owls. I mix a special pale brown underglaze for them - nothing off the shelf is quite right! After an hour of drying these will be ready for a dip in clear glaze. #ceramic #owl #art #inprogess
