A brilliant start to the new year! My #firstreadof2026 was a collection of #shortstories that speak of complex and simple humanity, mostly through the lens of indian-american experiences. 8.5/10 ๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ“š #booksky #jhumpalahiri #interpreterofmaladies #booklover #bookworm #bookish #bookrec #pulitzer #read

Book #12 #InterpreterOfMaladies - by #JhumpaLahiri. A collection of short stories that won her the Pulitzer. I love the relatability in the tales around Indian immigrants. Her writing is beautiful, her stories always strike a chord, like these last lines in the last story.
