November 22 to December 21 These extroverts love to travel and explore new areas. They are determined to achieve their life goals, and may behave recklessly to do so! Having high standards makes them well suited for quality control and management jobs! Element: Fire Color: Blue Red swamp crayfish love to go for long walks and travel on land and in water, and studies have documented them migrating up to two miles on land. They talk about theories and concepts, but never the details. Will randomly pinch you and walk-away Element: Air Color: Light-blue & Silver Green crabs are one of the most invasive marine species and likely came in via the ballast water of ships. They are problematic as they destroy critical native eel-grass habitat by cutting shoots off at the base. They can also destroy shellfish beds and outcompete native crabs. Like really know where they stand on an issue? Probably not! Element: Air Color: Pink & Green Cuban treefrogs are invasive to the Florida region and can change their color (beige to grey to olive to blue-green)! Thought to have been brought in as a hitchhiker on horticulture shipments, they have now become established. Unfortunately, they eat native Florida frogs and lizards. October 23 to November 21 Scorpios are secretive and don’t like to share information about themselves. They play others against each other and be a bit manipulative. However, they are generally fearless, and excellent at revealing truths of others! Element: Water Color: Scarlet, Red, and Rust Sea lamprey may not suck out your secrets, but they will suck out the blood of fish with their toothy suction cup like mouths. Once they have made up their mind, they are “all in” and leave no room for discussion. Element: Earth Color: Green/Pink Japanese knotweed are stubborn plants with rhizomes. In order to reach moisture, their roots will exploit any crack or hole to get there. Not even concrete or wooden barriers will stop them. Cutting or mowing will only stimulate them to grow more! May 21 to June 20 Gemini’s are generally gentle and affectionate personalities. They are quite intelligent and adept at “reading the room”. Given they are a twin sign, they often get lonely and always want a friend or companion around, Element: Air Color: Light Green/Yellow Starlings travel in groups and enjoy a good party. They are inquisitive birds with a good memory and excellent mimicry skills.
