Inyo Craters is part of the Mammoth Lakes Trail system in Northern California. The photo is taken from the upper rim of the crater looking down toward a bright greenish-blue pond at the floor. The crater’s rim is lined by pine trees. The sky is bright blue without a cloud to be seen.

Inyo Craters. I saw a sign for it when on I was road tripping to see family. I want to head back someday and take more time to look around. I’m betting the Mammoth Lakes trail system is amazing.
