Now, Wren, what do you say?" Panel 2: Wren says, "Thanks, Gaia!" The mother corrects him, "Doctor Gaia." Wren then says, "Thanks, docker Gaia!" Panel 3: Gaia ruffles the fur on his head. "Ha, you're very welcome. Now run along, you little mud scrap!" Wren giggles. Panel 4: Atla stands next to Gaia and they watch the mother and son leave. Gaia says, "Reminds me of you, when you were little. Why'd you have to grow up so fast, Sweetpea? You're too dang tall now!" Panel 5: Atla laughs. "Grandma, I wanted to ask about something." "Hm?" "Well, uh, Modi just asked me to ma—" She gets cut off. Panel 6: Gaia looks overjoyed. "Well I'll be, that Modi really did it! C'mere, give ol' granny a hug!" Panel 7: They hug each other. Gaia says, "If I don't have a pack of great-grand pups on my porch by next spring—!"

Panel 1: Atla turns away from where she'd been talking to Juno; she has an amused smile on her face. Panel 2: Atla makes her way through the village, passing by a wolf and his pup as he smokes fish. Atla says, "Hey, Salix! How's your fish coming along?" Salix replies, "Alright. Can't wait to eat it, of course!" Atla says, "Mmm, that smells great. Mother Avalon will be happy!" Panel 3: Atla approaches an extra large bungalow with plants growing on and around it. Her grandma is speaking to a young pup and his mother. The grandma is mid-conversation, saying, "...but that doesn't mean you can't have ANY berries. Just not too many!"
