With everything going on in our lives, I completely forgot about the monthly art prompts lists like #JanuaArty. Oh well, those of us that can participate here it is. We’re too busy packing up our lives again saying goodbye to Indonesia, the country& people that had welcomed us for the last 6 years. 😭

Landscape format. Across a grey-green field punctuated in the foreground by yellow and dark green strokes, is a hedgerow of dark green and violet, running across side to side. Through a gateway in the middle is a golden field from the far side of which a large rocky pale green outcrop rises, steeper on the left side and with a couple of trees on the lower part of the right slope. Strata of rock are lilac and blue. On the top sits a cluster of historic buildings inside a wall: an abbey, a square castellated tower, a tall narrow Round Tower, and a small cemetery, all rendered in a lilac-grey and pink like the stone perimeter wall. Sky is pale blue-teal with smokey lilac clouds. Signed bottom right in red: Liam Daly
A #painting for you to enjoy "Rock of Cashel III". I've painted this famous Irish landmark several times and this one, representing a view I saw while cycling toward it, is probably my favourite angle - probably because it has space to breathe. #SpeirGorm #JanuaArty
Many rectangular windows of the Harpa Concert Hall, a tessellation of rows of windows, each like a box of glass at a different angle to the ones above and below, catching different light and giving a view into the building. Each window has a top, front and left, joined on to the ones above, below and to each side.
Day 3 of #JanuaArty #JanuArty2025 and the prompt was 'Shapes'. These are the windows on the Harpa Concert Hall in Reykjavik, Iceland.
