We were delighted to have a visit from Greta Defeyter this afternoon. It was a brilliant learning moment for the #Jarratea. We will be working with Prof Defeyter to evaluate our tea and the benefits of the project for children and young people.

These handmade beauties are the result of a 10-week woodwork course funded by our #UKSPF. This money created our #jarratea portable clinics design, saving the Tyneside wood shed that was unable to pay rent & enabled 10 people to learn new skills. #southTyneside working together.

I was out this morning at one of the #CommunityGardens we at @biglocaljarrow.bsky.social support. We foraged this lovely flowers and plants. By 6.30 this evening they were #jarratea. follow me to find out more about this wonderful locally made tea.

We've been out finding herbs and flowers for our new signature tea for Jarrow Hall. We will be designing a tea that Bede would have enjoyed in the year 650. #jarratea
