Rumi stumbles into the apartment with a loud bang of the door, her bag hitting the floor before she's even called out "I'm home!" Jinu appears from the bedroom, hair sticking up in all directions like he was dead asleep until just now. Maybe she'd woken him up. Oops. "Babe?" he asks as she stumbles towards the refrigerator and proceeds to shove every loose item of food she could fit into her mouth. "You okay?" The response is a series of sad whines around a mouthful of food. "Uh—" Rolling her eyes, Rumi swallows the mouthful of what Jinu thinks is leftover noodles before she tries again. "I said it was a rough day at the studio. Mira and Zoey fought over choreography for the new song, Bobby is getting pressure form the label to do a better job promoing our new single, and Celine decided to stick her nose into it. I've barely been able to keep it together all day." Jinu blinks, letting all of that sink in. He knows the music industry if full of bullshit, and he's been through a lot of the same with the other Saja Boys, but he suspects this isn't why Rumi is venting about it all. "Is there anything I can do?" Rumi bursts into tears finally. He gives her a minute to let it out, rubbing comforting circles on her back until she chokes out, "Can you hold me?" "Of course." Jinu instantly folds Rumi into his arms, pulling her close. "I got you."
When she calms down, he herds her over to the couch so they can get more comfortable. He lies her down before wrapping a blanket around the two of them, and when Derpy jumps up to cuddle with them, she giggles and kisses his head. They fall asleep like that, TV playing in the background.
