He got harassed less than before the attack, which was nice, though Izuku thinks it was only because of the expensive shoes they imported from the United States. They were nice, and unlike the red Q high tops, they didn’t advertise the fact that he is, or was, quirkless. He also actually had color options with those, choosing to get a green pair and a black pair. The one thing Izuku didn’t work on much was quirk control, he decided pretty quickly that it was too dangerous and chose just not to speak instead. He would write or text, but he very rarely used his voice. Speech therapy was completed, so he could speak if he wanted to but he feared hurting his mom on accident. Which is why his decision to start a podcast surprised both of them. Izuku liked to listen to them from time to time, and he thought it might be fun to start one himself. Inko fully supported it, understanding that this could be something that made him feel that speaking was safe again. She wouldn’t get her hopes up, but that hope was there. They both did diligent research and bought some equipment to get him started. A decent computer, an editing software, microphone and headphones, along with sound proofing his room so the background of the recording wouldn’t have any disruptions."
