No drilling in the Arctic Sea now - a spill there would destroy the ecosystem. Takes too long to get there and hard to get there. There was so much pushback when Shell oil decided to drill up there and Trump I’m sure let them his first term. Well they ended up not doing it…..after massive protests in kayaks around the drill platform that was parked in Seattle to go up there, it was obnoxious looking, the Kayaktivists and GreenPeace organized great protests there and in Oregon. The kayaktivists delayed the platform from finally leaving the city to head for Alaska. The drill platform got stuck in the low tide north of Seattle for hours. Loved that! It was a good day for the resistance. Shell got there eventually but decided not to drill after all for some reason, probably because of the difficulty of it all. #ShellREALLYsucks
