So I might be still blinging this out for a while
so I'm bouncing back and forth on various projects today:
1) Trying to figure out how to rewrite The Full Ronin
2) Writing Flip of a coin Chapter 45 (halfway done)
3) this ffxiv shirt insanity I'm going to wear to both Pax East and FFXIV fanfest
4) Finish art on ipad

Knitting patterns for the armor mon
Converted to cross stitch. There's a fairly significant chunk at the bottom.
Trying to turn my knitting pattern into cross stitch. Once again Tenku Mon is a pain in the ass.

Folding and sewing the purple ribbon piece into a petal shape
More folding, now it's a petal!
Youtube tutorial showed how to get the petals folded down using lighter to melt the materials together and that's so imprecise for me with the large lighter I have so I'm just sewing the petals with black thread 💀

Cut out pieces of blue and pink ribbons about 2" by 3". Finished roses are just above the ribbons.
I really need a smaller lighter for burning ribbon ends. #kiacrafts

Posing with a Star Wars book (Halloween at the library at the time in 2016, I believe) with my own custom Jedi costume.)
Looking at this makes me a bit sad because I made my own awesome Jedi costume. It's long since put away in my sewing room because I don't want to think about Star Wars ever again.
At least I can appreciate the hard work I put into making the outfit.

Two cameos; biggest one is painted while the smaller one is not. Bicone eads in blue, purple, and black.
Did some color testing on the first cameo.

Strung up some fake pearls with cone glass beads; three strands on elastic string with the first and third having red cone beads. The one in the middle has champagne colored cone bead which is slightly bigger than the other two cone beads.
Managed to craft some pearl bracelets for both flapper dresses

Original top which was really awful to sew and looked awkward
Another attempt, this time covering a black strapless bra in the fabric
Shorts. Accidentally cut these out in a bigger size but fuck it, I'd rather have them be a bit looser around the thighs

Middle finger joint rings with red rhinestones on an elastic band. Glue is curing for the rhinestones.
3d print parts hot glued to elastic bands (rings) with a chain bracelet/ring combo.

So many coins and yet not enough. Chains for dancer body.
Necklace with some lighter gold painted in. Will need to add darker gold.
Got the handles attached! Had a bit of a problem with the dowels breaking.
So far they've stayed in place. Been making decent progress!

the back of the boots, deglazed, blue tape added for the gold portion to be painted later. Red paint shown to be added.
First layer of red down on the boots. Card with instructions show how to paint boots: Clean if dirty (these boots were clean), deglaze or sandpaper (I deglazed), paint in multiple thin layers, allowing to dry between layers, and finally finish off with a 4-coat finisher to dry for 48 hours. (I have two coat finishers in high gloss and satin, I'll be using satin)
