Fifth page 3PM Coolin’ down from the shop and chattin’ on Discord for a bit 3.30-5.30PM Got company over later, so gotta do a big clean. Oh no Biff! (She is in the room looking spooked as I am hoovering). “Bitch I do NOT live like this” “Please forgive me, my liege (addressing Biff). I should have known better. Perhaps this nugget here (I’m holding a treat up to her) will make you forget the horrors.” 6PM Another hour til they get here. I guess I’ll just sit… and not eat (I’m jittery and my stomach is growling)
7PM The doorbell rings, and I am dramatically turning to the door. “Friend” 7.30-9PM “Bon appétit!” Three pals sitting together and eating takeaway. Tiny “yippee” from friend in the centre.
9.30PM Movie time! (I’m holding a DVD of Akira). Placing the disc into the PS5 The three of us sitting on the couch yelling “TETSUOOO!”

I love that this is a sentence. 1PM Watching Untucked so I’m not only getting “half the story” (I’m really enjoying it this season). “You fuckin’ tell ‘em Suzie Toot!”
Fourth page 1.30PM Making myself more presentable to go to the shop for like 5 mins I gotta be the most fuckable person there It’s actually pretty cold out so… (shows me wrapped up, wearing jacket and hat). 2nd panel. I’m starting to tear up but not in a positive way. The song continues and lyrics read: “WAIT for the answer to open the door…”
3rd panel. My eyes are now stinging badly and I continue to tear up. The lyrics look like they’re melting and in distress just like me. They once again read: “Nonagon infinity opens the door…”
4th panel. The “punch line” of the comic. It’s the climactic “OOOOHHHH!!!” part of the song. A red glowing nonagon appears behind me, referencing the visuals of the King Gizzard video for “Robot Stop”. I am still crying, but am hyped for that part of the song. It is revealed that I have been slicing onions the whole time.

4 panel autobio comic featuring me and my partner, based on a random day in September 2024, drawn on Thursday 9th Jan 2025. I am running to my partner for a hug because I’m stressed. As we hug, a stray beard hair pokes me in the eye. Albeit in pain, I find the situation so hilarious that I laugh myself to tears. My partner stands confused. I immediately feel better and wave back to my partner, thanking him for the pain and laughter. He remains confused as to what just happened.
Couldn’t help but laugh myself to tears that in seeking out comfort from my bestie, I got stabbed in the eye instead lmao. Whatever I was going through in that moment, the physical pain and the absurdity of the whole situation really grounded me. Really make u tink 🧠🧐

Autobio comic titled “They Dinner”, dated Tuesday 7 January 2025. This first page shows @kimitr0n trying to figure out what to have for dinner. The panels show a sequence of making a dish with various ingredients - day old rice, an egg, tuna, Laoganma chilli oil, furikake, bonito flakes, sesame seeds and Kewpie mayo. On the last panel, @kimitr0n remembers there are nori sheets somewhere, an idea comes to them.
Second page of “They Dinner” This page shows @kimitr0n mixing all of the ingredients together in a bowl, and placing the rice mixture in a cut up sheet of nori. It ends up like a sort of messy onigiri. A panel shows an exaggerated, shark-like @kimitr0n trying to eat what they’ve just made. The final panel shows them slamming their fist in joy as the food was very delicious. A special shout out at the end goes to Asian food shops for the amazing ingredients they provide to make fun meals like this possible.
Trying Gentle Comics Habit!
I have noticed a pattern of burnout because I tend to spend too long on an artwork, trying to perfect everything. Dreading making bad art. I think making fast comics like this is a brilliant way of keeping my momentum going. Plus it’s a fun memento!
