Sandhill now does RomWBW. Turns out they've supported the S100computers boards for a while and I just kind of never noticed! #Z80 #Retrocomputing #Kitcomputing #S100
Galaksija 40th Anniversary, a update on a classic Yugoslavian Z80 machine. Shown running Galaktički Rat (Galactic War), a Space Invaders-like programmed by system designer Voja Antonić.
We've got file transfer! Galaksija's about ready to go on exhibit at VCF Midwest. #Retrocomputing #KitComputing
S100computers 68000 CPU board, populated with fancy ceramic 68010.
Detail view on CPU clock oscillator: The board halves frequency, so a crystal of 16MHz gives us 8MHz operation. (Slightly slower than a Neo-Geo, On par with the original Macintosh, and slightly faster than the Amiga 500 and Sega Genesis.)
Sandhill's 68000 CPU board passed a major milestone today: Succeeding at a lengthy volley of bus transactions in both 8-bit and 32-bit(!) width. Next milestone is to boot CP/M-68k, though we're not quite there yet. The road here's been quite long...
