On March 30, the Israeli Parliament passed a bill that mandates the death penalty for Palestinians accused of killing an Israeli settler, either intentionally or recklessly, deemed act of terrorism by a military court. It does not include zionists who killed native Palestinians, making it a law that is racially discriminatory.
Unanimous consent of judges will not be required to impose the death penalty and those sentenced will not be allowed appeals. B'Tselem, an Israeli human rights organization, said that "these military courts have an approximately’96% conviction rate, based largely on ‘confessions’ extracted under duress and torture.
Since October 2023, over 72.000+ Palestinians have been murdered. This law aims to serve the ethnic-cleansing and genocide perpetrated by Israel and enabled by the international community.
🔥 #Israel has now codified state-sanctioned execution based on identity. The parliament voted a law for the hanging of Palestinian prisoners.
