Had a fight with a yarn gods. Started a spite knit project with two of the worst yarns in the stash. Midway, I started to like the damn thing. Oldest spawn says it looks like a cactus. May have to produce a reserve ugly hat line for the decerning #knit lover.

Finishing the cotton blend striped top. Edging with an I-cord bind off. The math on that is for each stich that is on needles, it takes 6 stitches to finish it off. I love the look of the rolled edge but it does begin to get a bit much. Why take the easy way?

#knit cap for sister. #knittingcat is helping. Was fancy with a tassel and a scalloped crochet edge. She lives in FL but has snowman obsession. Variegated thread has shinny bits. Colors remind me of all the snowman ornaments she has. Two strands of cotton for the not as cold winters.

I love when I find yarns that make me think of the person who will receive the item. While I #knit, I am constantly reminded of memory sparks in the yarn. I don’t know if it will spark for them but I think there is an energy in the pieces that do as I make them.
