I finished the gansey! Pretty pleased with it, a perfect everyday sweater. But really hard to photograph though. Yarn: Rauma finull #knitsky #knittingyesterday
Pictured: me in full 1918 gear including the Roseate sweater and the silly little beret I knitted to go with the ensemble. #knitsky #knittingyesterday #larp
Gansey progress. It's starting to look so good! ๐
Also pictured: The pattern and my chaotic notes for recounting for my gauge. Luckily it's only me that need to make sense of it. ๐

I finished the Roseate sweater from 1910. It was not a fun knit sadly, and I should have made the body longer. I'm gonna use it for a larp set in 1918 this March, so I skipped the standing collar to be able to match with lace collar. #knitsky #knittingyesterday
The Roseate Sweater, pattern from 1910, is slowly taking shape. I want to be doneee! Nect project is calling me ๐ #knitsky #knittingyesterday
It's really hard to photograph, since it's so dark. But this is a sailor sweater from WW1 and it's ready to go to its new owner! Knitted flat (๐ ) in Rauma 3tr. #knitsky #knittingyesterday
Found another use for my ww1 balaclava: Winter running beanie with a space for ponytail! Now I'm tempted to modify this pattern with a smaller hole for this particular purpose. Should I? #knitsky #knittingyesterday
Next item from A Knitters Guide to World War 1 is this almond colored balaclava. Gonna test it out under the bike helmet soon! #knitsky #knittingyesterday
This weekend I started and finished this sleeping cap from the book Knitters Guide to World War 1. I'm very pleased. It worked up fast, was fun to knit. Will definitely knit more of these. #knitsky #knittingyesterday
Definitely the nerdiest thing I bought in a long time. I wanna knit so many of the patterns in this book! #knitsky #knittingyesterday #ww1
The ww1 vest is done!!! It's... too small, even blocked and with me wearing a binder. ๐ I might give it away to someone smallest than me. Pics as follow: the original picture and pattern, me in binder and then wearing it as a period vest with a skirt. #knitsky #knittingyesterday #ww1
