I am honored to receive the 2025 #GSCL Best Thesis Award at #KONVENS in Hildesheim for my Master’s thesis, which investigates multilinguality and develops language models for Ancient Greek and Latin. Thank you to my mentors and collaborators. I look forward to what comes next.

From conference to conference — after last week’s #semdial I am at #konvens in Hildesheim this week. I will be presenting out German BabyLM Corpus (with @simphon.bsky.social) and our PI Sina Zarrieß will give a Keynote on BabyLMs tomorrow. 🥳

📢 Announcement: The Methodenwerkstatt »Shared Task ›Flauscherkennung‹« will take place on September 10, 2025. This event focuses on developing and testing methods for detecting candy speech in comments. 📊
