A town in Camarines Sur, Philippines inundated with a flood caused by tropical storm Kristine that struck the province on October 22, 2024. The rain dumped within a 24 hour period was equivalent to a one month's worth of rain(528.5 mm) for my province, that several towns were flooded for more than eight days, with some areas seeing more than ten days worth of flooding.
It is considered to be the most devastating flooding incident in the history of Camarines Sur.
Exactly one year ago, tropical storm Kristine inundated my province with 528.5 mm of rain dumped within a 24 hour period.
The result was the most devastating flood in my province's history.
Entire towns flooded with more than a meter deep of water...
