A half-body digital drawing of Kung Lao, from Chronicles of the Realms, by me. He's a young Chinese monk depicted with his left hand crossed over his chest, palm turned down, and his right hand over the left, closed in a fist enveloped by blue magic. Around his left hand is a stone tablet tied with a leather strip, and on his right arm, there's a large tattoo of a red and orange phoenix; the rest of his arm, from above the elbow up, is wrapped in boxing wraps. He wears a blue jiāshā that, again, leaves his right arm bare, and has the symbols of two dragons on the chest, the right one covered by his raised arm. On the sash around his waist, of a blue darker than his jiāshā, is a circular amulet painted with the ensō symbol. He also wears his iconic razor hat on his bald head. His hat has the shén word in a brighter blue tone.

Kung Lao has appeared a few times in snippets now and folks related to him, so I thought I'd try my hand at drawing him—from Eternal Flame, when he's still a bald baby.
