My own contribution consists a series of small paintings, presented on freestanding walls arranged in a leporello-like form alongside two larger paintings installed elsewhere in the exhibition.

The exhibition brings together works by Astrid de Pauw, Jan Theun van Rees, Baukje Spaltro, Julius Stibbe, Anneke Timmerman, and Marius van Zandwijk.

Last Sunday marked the opening of ALLES GROEN, introduced with a beautiful speech by guest curator Marianne Roodenburg of Kunstuitleen Alkmaar. 🌿

Green is never just green: It can comfort, seduce, and challenge. In this exhibition, artists reveal how many stories can be contained within a single color. From cool neon to mossy darkgreen, each shade speaks of time, longing, and landscape. Some works draw you in like the edge of a forest, others cut through like a traffic light. At times it feels like a walk through a silent garden, at others like a loud signal. On view are paintings, drawings, and photography by Astrid de Pauw, Jan Theun van Rees, Boukje Spaltro, Julius Stibbe, Anneke Timmerman, and Marius van Zandwijk
