Manitoba MediaBulletin June 11, 2024 PRAIRIE GREEN LANDFILL SEARCH BULLETIN A notice of alteration approval pursuant to section 14(2) of the Environment Act was issued today. This accelerated licence approval was determined to be in the public interest. The notice of alteration will be available for viewing on the public registry. A development permit has also been issued by the South Interlake Planning District for on-site work to begin for temporary structures required to support the search at the Prairie Green Landfill, operated by Waste Connections of Canada in the Rural Municipality of Rosser. This will allow for the search of the Prairie Green Landfill to begin in an attempt to recover the remains of Morgan Harris and Marcedes Myran. The notice of alteration is available at, www.gov.mb.ca/sd/eal/registries/index
