to prevent a second shot, Sephiroth moves to stand in front of Ravus, as the helicopter lifts from the ground. Ravus warns him not to do anything foolish. Sephiroth continues running for the helicopter, full tilt. he reminds Ravus that using real names around Joes is bad, which, admittedly, Ravus had forgotten in the moment. Sephiroth literally runs to his arms, to be pulled into the helicopter's protection. the darkened speech bubbles and colored text are intended to be a telepathic proximity link between the two, due to the amount of time Ravus has been in Sephiroth's mind, and the time they've spent in each others', through intimate and sexual contact. Sephiroth doesn't have any psychic ability, but he can broadcast for Ravus, who knows his 'voice' from anyone else's very, very well. line-of-sight works best, but isn't entirely necessary if they're close enough.

the installment opens on another 'interrogation'. everyone's clothes have fallen off. we next drop in on the FF7/15/GI Joe AU in 2020, and word seems to have gotten around that the silver-haired COBRA ruse is fair game to the braver Joes.

comic style has changed almost completely. this won't be the last time.

Lazard gets an uncovered look at Ravus' left eye, and is zapped! but not really--the glow is hypnotic in a very 80s way, and Lazard is ordered into unconsciousness by the 'blast'. he falls so, over the interrogation room's table. Sephiroth looks upon the major with pity, having been subjected to the hypnosis before, himself, but unlike Lazard, was a willing participant. Sephiroth was also enjoying his 'interrogation', and this is a clear sign that fun time with Lazard is over.

Ravus reaches out a hand to his 'pet', to take Sephiroth away from his confinement. Sephiroth grins, and with a deep breath, breaks his restraints easily.
