They add a bit more to the upper section and stabilize some walls.
There’s some really cool Engineering to ensure those flimsy, swirly pillar decoration remains stable and locked in place without too much wobbling.

These make the very ornate gazebo that is detachable so that you can access the wee forge below.
The base has some neat engineering so it doesn’t wobble, and makes for easy lift-off and locking in place without using studs.

And so is the tower. Some interesting engineering allowing the walls to interlock and create more stability, and the way the arches were made was very clever.
