There is no logical reason for indoor choir rehearsals of more than 6 singers to be banned in England while Wales consider it safe.

This would be hilarious if it weren't so infuriating.
Open up indoor 5-a-side with no science to shoe it is safe, but ban indoor singing even though the risk only really goes up above 90db - which no normal choir singer will reach.

Autumn 2020 choirs had risk-assessed rehearsals - masks, 2m distancing & volume reduction.
May 2021 added in lateral flow testing & high vaccination rates must mean even safer singing
