Its grayish-brown color allows it to blend into its surroundings. It has six robust legs, a large head with long, thin antennae, and a segmented abdomen that ends in a rounded point. Its surface appears slightly dusty, as if covered in sand. The light in the photo is soft, giving it a tranquil and natural feel, like an unexpected find amidst the Andean landscape of Maule.
