You might think Shiloh, diffuse orange young lady, looks pretty freaked out here. You're very correct! Melissa is mean-mugging Shiloh from my lap, but that didn't stop this enterprising sweetie! Why, just get in the bowl, Melissa loves that! And you know what? It worked. Smartest cat, got many kisses.

Jimbo, dreamsicle piebald, stepped onto my lap and seriously hasn't looked back. He'll jump right up even when I'm in the chair (something terrifying only days ago), and flip over to get some snugs. He's a kneader, with no claw control, yet manages to grab my hand with the same claws out and not break skin. He's not shy about giving kisses back, but still a little suspicious about this whole "hang out with a human" thing. One of his favorite games is "ooooh nooooooo you're chaaaasing meeee!" Today, he nipped mawmaw's toe after receiving very nice pets haha I almost cried laughing. I'm very grateful to have this little guy near home- I'm probably crazy selfish, already getting to love on so many babies, but early this morning I decided to give up on sleep and step out- he was there! He's a wonderful new neighbor! Thanks for reading this wall of text... I'm not planning on reducing my posting, but I'm having trouble finding joy around me. I know it's there, and right now I'm blind to it (also sick lol) so I'll just keep swimming until the spots in my vision fade!
