We lost the wonderful Linda Nolan 1 year ago today. She was a member of the Nolan Sisters who had a top 3 hit with "I'm in the Mood for Dancing" in Feb 1980. A blend of pop & disco, it has since become synonymous with the group and remains their biggest hit. Linda was just 65 years old. #LindaNolan

It was Linda Nolan’s funeral today. She was the one of The Nolan Sisters that always had an extra glint in her eyes and as some stories I discovered proved she was not exactly what you would expect from a Nolan Sister. #LindaNolan

Im incredibly sad at the loss of #lindanolan. Im thrilled to say I toured with @The_Nolans many years ago and became friends of the girls. This beautiful lady has battled cancer for a long time she's been so brave supported by her family. Linda will now be with her beloved Brain
