After the final session of #lino2025, took a walk around Insel Mainau and enjoyed the beautiful gardens, before taking the boat back to Lindau. Feel privileged to have participated in one of the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings - a very supportive environment!
Very excited as we set off on an early morning start for our final day at #lino2025 on beautiful Mainau Island, a tradition of the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings, for a panel discussion and science picnic.
So lovely to meet young women in #chemistry, Anja Sadžak and Klara Krmpotić, originally from Croatia at the Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings, #lino2025. Managed to wrestle a medal from a young scientlst, Tuan Sang Tran, at the meeting as well.
Amazing - the woman dancing looks like me but I claim it’s another woman in #chemistry! Great first day at #lino2025

The 2025 SIEF-AAS Fellows proudly display their Australian Academy of Science @science.org.au T-shirts at this year's Lindau Nobell Laureate Meeting, and then I managed to take a short break before the #lino2025 afternoon session.
30-40 Nobel Laureates & 600 outstanding young scientists from around the world regularly attend the Lindau Nobel Laureate meetings. Over 200 academic partners nominate researchers to participate. This year's Australian delegation to #lino2025 were thrilled the MoU with @science.org.au was renewed.
The Aussie contingent were so proud of Dr @dmdeclercq.bsky.social of @unswchemistry.bsky.social, who wowed us with his #chemistry talk at the #lino2025 Thematic Next Gen Science Session of Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings.
Although envious as I could not join young scientist sessions at #lino2025, I could visit local sites, such as St Peter's Church (>1000 years old), Cavazzen museum, old Town Hall (15th C); & see World Science Forum friends from Cape Town at Lindau Nobel Laureate Meetings Academic Partner reception.
Today we heard Aussie delegate, Wenchao Duan, speak in the Next Gen Science Session at #lino2025. Delighted to again meet Nobel Laureates, including Klaus von Klitzing, Jean-Marie Lehn, Morten Meldal & Peter Agre. Our delegates enjoyed discussions with Nobel Laureate, David MacMillan.
After a long train journey, it was so rewarding to arrive in beautiful Lindau for #lino2025
