The Arnak board, today with the tree temple. We always use the automa player to help open sites and churn the cards.
Arnak with the Tree temple. It was a long slow climb up the tree as it was quite expensive. A abandoned getting another assistant in favour of climbing with the magnifying glass. To our surprise the game ended in a draw.

The Arnak board. 4 players was fun. We only played the base game to keep the game simpler and faster.
We were lucky to try Arnak with 4 players. We all thought it would take longer to play and there would be too much competition for spaces. However it was great fun and we’d all be happy to play at 4 again. M won comfortably by getting to the top of the track first.

Lost ruins of Arnak, a very pretty but huge board which covers a good deal of our table!
Today we ventured into the enormous treasure chest of Arnak. We didn’t trouble the new temple but got to see some new cards and helpers. This game saw the falconer against the professor, the latter winning by 7 points.

Arnak with the Countess and Journalist. The Journalist (victor) made the most of an early assistant but only managed two articles. The Countesses’s balloon was a hindrance towards the end - most cards were bought in the first half of the game.
