Art is amazing because you can draw whatever the fuck you want. Even if you don’t have the skills to get exactly where you want to go, nobody can stop you from trying. Total freedom.

Got drunk last night and decided that I wanted to try making something unlike anything I’ve ever made before, something I wasn’t sure I could make at all. This is my first time painting a landscape, and this is my first time using oil paint brushes. Ref was a photo of Venice(?) #lostudies
