Happy St Patrick’s Day to all of our students, staff and global Queen’s family.
Lá Fhéile Pádraig sona dár mic léinn, dár bhfoireann, agus do theaghlach domhanda Ollscoil na Banríona.
This is a day to celebrate, and I know our students will do so responsibly. As always, we ask you to be considerate in the communities where you live and socialise. We encourage you to be mindful of those who live close to you, ensuring that any celebrations remain safe and respectful for everyone.
Is lá ceiliúrtha é seo, agus tá a fhios agam go mbeidh ár mic léinn ag ceiliúradh go freagrach. Mar is gnách, iarraimid oraibh a bheith tuisceanach sna pobail ina gcónaíonn sibh agus ina mbíonn sibh ag bualadh le chéile. Molaimid daoibh a bheith ag smaoineamh ar na daoine a bhfuil cónaí orthu cóngarach daoibh, agus a chinntiú go mbeidh gach ceiliúradh sábháilte agus measúil do chách.
Our Neighbourhood Engagement team will be on the ground, in the area surrounding the University, to offer support and guidance throughout the day.
Beidh ár bhfoireann Rannpháirtíochta Chomharsanachta amuigh ar an talamh, sa cheantar thart ar an Ollscoil, ag tabhairt tacaíochta agus comhairle i rith an lae.
We are also delighted that many of our alumni based in the United States will be representing Queen's in the New York St Patrick's Day parade again this year.
Tá lúcháir orainn fosta go mbeidh cuid mhór iarmhic léinn dár gcuid lonnaithe sna Stáit Aontaithe ag déanamh ionadaíochta ar son Ollscoil na Banríona i bparáid Lá Fhéile Pádraig i Nua-Eabhrac arís i mbliana.
Wishing you all an enjoyable and safe St Patrick’s Day.
Guímid Lá Fhéile Pádraig sona, sábháilte oraibh uilig.
