aquatint, drypoint, and etching on a 6” x 9” recycled copper plate. working with the plate instead of making the plate work for me was an interesting challenge… will do again!

Though there is gold present, the piece appears mostly reddish-pink, purple, and blue. It is shimmery upon contact with light. “Conformity” features a female wearing only a loose fabric cardigan, with their body being ripped in two vertically. Their ribs and guts are visible.
The third of eight prints in the “Conformity” series. It was made using blue, red, and yellow oil-based inks. Unlike the first print in the series, the yellow is prominent in the mixing of colors here and adds dimension to the still primarily red- and blue-toned piece. “Conformity” features a female wearing only a loose fabric cardigan, with their body being ripped in two vertically. Their ribs and guts are visible.
