Bit of an odd vermin in the worlds of Lucid Blocks that hearkens more to the LCD Dream Emulator/Yume Nikki vibes than a straightforward Minecraft one, where they don't seem to have much purpose and only take up so much space in one direction in 3d space. They always will face the same direction on the axis.

These are surprisingly trickier to get similar to the way they look in game because they don't have real models and the shaders make them increasingly difficult to photograph so getting reference isn't super easy either. I created a set of nodes that sort of phase the transparency of the checkboard via a noise pattern but to get the glow it def gets lost in the process... ah well.

The ball wand allows you to shoot bouncing projectiles at enemies to deal some damage and knockback- this functionality is also tied to a block that does this automatically on loop. The projectiles are physics based, which does lend some interesting properties especially in the trial rooms, but overall you'll probably see foes use these more than you will use these yourself.
