Dear Archie,
I love, love, love what you are doing with the STAR WARS sorles, but may I offer one small criticism? I feel that one of the most charming aspects of the original movie's ending was the sweet affection between Luke and Princess Leia. However, in your comic series they act more like young brother and sister than sweethearts. I know you can't do anything that would conflict with the upcoming sequel, but since it has already been clearly established that Luke and Leia are in love, I don't think it would spoil anything that will be shown in the sequel if you gave a little more emphasis to the romance between them in future Marvel installments. I'm sure many other STAR WARS fans would agree and be pleased to see this too. Keep up the excellent work.

As you may have noted with issue #23, Reina, we haven't forgotten the romance between Luke and Princess Leia, but if pressed, we might be tempted to argue just how clearly the original film establishes them as being in love. It seems to us, the film also leaves open the possibility that the lady might be interested in Han Solo. Plus, there's the added aspect of Leia's position in the Rebel Alliance, which might well complicate how the feels about being committed to anyone. Naturally, we'll be nodling around all these possibilities, as well as some others, as time goes along. Stay tuned.
Imagine being a #lukeleia shipper after the very first movie in 1977, so much that you write this letter to the official comics, and then finally watching THAT reveal π
Oh, Reina A. Greene, I hope youβre okay, wherever you are
