A commissioned artwork I got from BN Juhayang, who drew my OC Luly van Kalayan with his partner Marco. The two are in a dance-like embrace, holding hands in the foreground, while Marco's other hand is around Luly's back, Luly's other hand is holding onto Marco's shirt. Luly's eyes are closed and he's laughing widely, clearly feeling comfortable and enjoying himself. Marco in the meantime only has eyes for his partner, smiling at Luly's face. Both men are showing some chest, their shirts open and Luly's chest has some chest fuzz exposed, which is very rare for him. Marco's wearing a white shirt, while Luly is wearing his iconic coat with a piano pattern on the collar, colored in a kinda desaturated plum-ish purple, with green buttons.

This panel is pretty full. On the left side there's an old painting of a man in 1400's fancy clothes in front of note sheets. Below it, his name is written. Jean Baptiste Lully (1632 - 1687) On the right side a more modern black and white photograph of a conductor with short hair and a serious expression, holding his sick up is shown. Below it says his name. Herbert von Karajan (1908 - 1984) Wink, sitting in the foreground, holding the huge cookie on their lap: So... when I made Luly, I had no idea how to find a good name for him. Then I remembered how Oda finds inspiration for names or designs in culturally important people as well. So I looked up two maestros of renown of the past, changed some letters & voilá! Luly in the background, looks up at the image of Herbert von Karajan very confused, with a "HUH?" sound next to him The first image also has a box next to it that states Jean-Baptiste Lully died from hitting his big toe with his baton (real), which Luly responds to with a loud WHAT?!
Panel 1: Wink, stuffing the cookie whole into their mouth: At first I wanted to - nomph - keep Lully, but it looksh too mutch like Luffy... Luly, leaning in, frowning at the small, weird cowboy bug: Who the fuck are you, little bug? Stop eating my cookies. Music theory and practice was drilled into Luly since birth, and he was able to play any instrument in his family's orchestral ensamble at age 8.

A small comic of Marco from One Piece and my OC Luly. In the first panel they're in the couple's bedroom, Luly (his female version) is laying in bed with a window behind him, light softly shining into the room from a slightly opened curtain. Marco is sitting on a chair next to the bed, holding a bundle. He says "He looks so tiny... and weird". Luly in the second panel, tired looking but happy, responds "Well, you're the father. He looks like you, silly!". It's said with love. In the third panel Marco is shown frontally, looking down at the bundle of baby who looks back at him. Marco seems surprised, processing the fact that he is, really, a father now. Then in the fourth panel he looks up at Luly with shiny eyes, tears in the corners of his eyes, some snot showing (lol), and his expression is mirrored by his son who's looking at Luly with a baby version of the overwhelmed frown. Marco, despite crying, is just a lil overwhelmed, but happy.
I did the meme, but as usual I can't just go 'silly', I have to add emotion to it. Also I just rly, rly wanted to draw Marco's *processing* expression.

At first, this is Luly's worst memory. He's a perfectionist, and hates slipping up. But this incident is what actually made Marco remember Luly. If Luly had just been a perfectly composed RA agent that day, things would be very different for them. #lulyvankalayan #opoc

A sketch of my OC Luly sitting on the ground, tied up in front of the mast of what is implied to be a ship. His legs are sorta spread open, ankles crossed where they're tied up. It's a provocative pose but he's fully clothed. His expression is smug and very confident as he looks up at the viewer from under his tophat. He's wearing tight clothes that look elegant and suit-like, including a neatly tied scarf, a vest and striped pants. Around his shoulders is a coat with wide sleeves that have a piano pattern on them, and the collar is fluffy with feathers. The box to Luly's right says "Maestro Luly (21)", and the speechbubbles around him say: "My captain is so much better at tying me up than you guys are! You should sve yourselves the embarrassment and let me go now."
Young Luly, Donquixote Pirate, stinky and getting in trouble. Sometimes other pirates would try to yoink the "pretty boy with the loud mouth" and tie him up to keep him from using his powers, but it never went well for them.
