Losing the one person she treasured to the unreachable abyss, Mikaela turns to the Path of Remembrance. She worships Fuli with all she has and desperately desires to become THEIR Emanator, even casting aside her physical body to become a Memetic Entity. As time marched on, it did not manage to heal her grief, and fervently devoting herself to Fuli as a distraction was no longer enough. Mournful and aimless, Mikaela gradually finds herself bewitched by the Cremators and decides to devote herself to their cause. Wielding her scissors with the foolish belief that she is easing their suffering, Mikaela would extract the memories of those who had lost their lovers. Even her own memories were not spared, as she would extract them every new moon and store them inside of her Memosprite, Moira. Mikaela would continue on her misguided quest until she eventually crossed paths with the Astral Express. Observing that the Trailblazer, March 7th, and Dan Heng have all suffered regarding memories of past loved ones, Mikaela challenges them on their views with a battle. Following her defeat, the group asserts that all memories are precious, no matter how heart-wrenching, and that Mikaela does not have the right to decide how others handle their grief. Her mind finally cleared, Mikaela deserts the Cremators and now vows to travel the cosmos to preserve the memories of love.
