He was a nobody from Galahd, who had managed to claw his way into the Kingsglaive before it all went to shit. Sometimes even he wonders what the hell he’s doing here, taking up her time and attention. When they first laid together in Altissia, Nyx was sure the king was going to find out and order his execution for it. But those thoughts disappear when he has Lunafreya in his arms in their bed. When she wakes up and smiles at him. In their precious few moments to themselves before they get ready for the day. Maybe he’s acting above his station, but he’ll enjoy it as long as he can.
