"They're just stars." Haruki's voice is much quieter now than it was out in the living room while watched movies. He makes himself smaller, and his mod coat with its large, fluffy hood begins to consume his shape.
"Whoa." What the fuck kind of magic does the Suou house keep inside its walls? Morichika hasn't seen the sky this clear... maybe ever. Tokyo's sky pollution is nothing to scoff at. And he doesn't exactly have the chance to travel often, so this is really fuckin' cool. "Which one's Venus?" He strains his memory, trying to pick it out of the night sky. "Oh, I see it." The knowledge comes so naturally to him that he doesn't even have to think about who taught it to him.

Haruki goes quiet again, spending a few minutes eating curry. He keeps making brief small talk here and there with the married woman sitting with him. The Suou house is so warm it almost burns his frozen heart. It hurts the same way stepping into a hot bath right out of a snowstorm hurts. He finds his plate empty when he clinks the spoon against the plate, and he looks back up at Suou's mom. "Thank you for the food."
