Taking some notes for a character analysis, and I honestly think this moment, where her ignorance is met with no anger, no disappointment, just a warm laugh and some encouragement- I think this moment was CRITICALLY important for #MaiNatsume
We see in flashbacks this is NOT how she was raised.
Listening to Mai's theme for the first time... immediately optimistic, upbeat and quick (spunky???) with some harder parts that don't feel aggressive, but strong. There are a few parts that feel like they're about to burst into song too.
