I've never had #makdous. But I read a recipe over a decade ago, and fell in love with the idea, anyway.

Here's the deal. The recipe was called batinjan makdous. Part of the FILLING contained pomegranate seeds.

I can't find it, nor can I find ANY makdous recipe w/ pomegranate arils in the filling.
