During the Reign of Terror (1793–1794), #MarieTussaud was forced to make wax death masks of prominent victims of the guillotine.
Marie Tussaud did work directly from the severed heads of executed individuals.
These included #MarieAntoinette, Robespierre, Marat, and Louis XVI.
