We stopped getting updates on the Orange Line traction power substation replacement when Eng took over as #MBTA GM, but apparently that's still going on, with another $18m programmed in SFY27-31. Our friends the Red Line Floating Slabs are still in the CIP too, $7.7m, and Alewife Crossover.

Finally time to review the MBTA's proposed capital investment plan for the next five fiscal years!

First up, on the Blue Line, as part of a flood mitigation project, the #MBTA proposes to move the cutover from third rail to catenary from the current switch at Airport one stop east to Wood Island.
